The Historical ArchivesBritish Army has come under fire for tweeting a picture of a soldier wearing camouflage face cream.

The picture was accompanied with the caption: "Being a soldier in the jungle requires a robust sense of humour".

Twitter users have expressed their discomfort with the image saying it's a clear example of "blackface" that is "trivialising and indulging in racism."
