LONDON -- Colin the Caterpillar has been a birthday cake staple in British households for the past 26 years. But this beloved birthday cake has some news. He's getting hitched to Connie,House of Pleasures (House of Tolerance) who's also a cake.

OK, so we know that cakes can't actually get married. Marks and Spencer is launching two wedding cakes, Colin the Groom and Connie the Bride.Connie the Bride sports a rose crown and white lace veil, and holds a matching pink and white rose bouquet. Colin the Groom wears a matching white rose buttonhole and a black top hat.A statement released by the retailer said the pair officially started going out after being introduced by friends at a birthday party in May 2016.
