This grandmother's childhood wish came true when she finally got the chance to meet Santa Claus.

Reddit user shawnwasim shared this ridiculously cute picture of his grandmother posing with Santa at the local mall. It was her childhood wish to celebrate Christmas.

His grandmother was born in an area which eventually became Pakistan, shawnwasim wrote on Reddit, adding that some Christian families did celebrate the holiday, but not in a grandiose way.

So he and his family took his grandmother to a mall to meet Santa for the first time and by looking at her picture, you can tell she was thrilled.

While shawnwasim mentioned he wasn't Christian, he said he understood the love for the holiday.

"I'm not even a Christian and Christmas is my favorite holiday!"
